Departing WWE Star Addresses Being Called ‘Injury Prone’ WWE

A departing WWE star has responded after being called injury prone, addressing their previous time away from the ring due to injury.

Shotzi was one of several names who was revealed to be departing WWE following the early-May talent cuts, with the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion informed that WWE could not be renewing her contract.

Amid her absence from the ring, Shotzi has now responded to a Twitter user who called her “injury prone”.

Shotzi replied to this user, writing:

“You idiots don’t know what injury prone means 🤣 one major injury in 12 years is ‘injury prone'”

She re-shared this comment, adding:

“‘Injury prone’ is a term that you wanna be smart marks overuse to sound smart. 100% of the wrestlers you are calling injury prone are not, they are just human.”

As referenced by Shotzi, she suffered a torn ACL during an NXT Women’s Championship match in February 2024, which took her out of action for ten months, with Shotzi returning to WWE NXT that December.

Because her departure is due to her WWE contract expiration rather than Shotzi being released, she will have no non-compete clause and will be able to appear as a free agent right away.
