A departing WWE star’s next move appears to have been revealed, with the star teased for an upcoming wrestling show.
Shotzi was one of 17 wrestlers revealed to be departing WWE at the beginning of May in the latest round of talent cuts.
While majority of these names were released from their contracts, Shotzi’s exit reportedly came due to WWE opting not to extend her contract.
Amid uncertainty about her future, Shotzi has now been teased for MLW Summer of the Beasts.
An advertisement for the June 26 event aired during the Saturday, May 10 MLW Azteca Lucha show. During this advertisement, text noted that “June 26. Hearts Turn Black. The Warning Shotz Will Be Fired.”
These text cards also featured illustrations of tanks in the background, heavily hinting at the arrival of Shotzi, who was also known as “Shotzi Blackheart” in WWE, and made her entrance in a mini-tank.
You can watch the vignette in the tweet below, or in the full MLW Azteca Lucha stream around the 1h50 mark at this link.
Because her departure is due to contract expiration rather than Shotzi being released, she will have no non-compete clause and will be able to appear as a free agent right away.
Shotzi hasn’t wrestled since facing Zoey Stark on the February 19 edition of WWE Speed.
