WWE Developmental Talent Resuming Training Away From Performance Center

Since the beginning of the pandemic, it has been increasingly difficult to train in pro wrestling. It is not exactly an activity you can do while social distancing. However, it is now being reported that the WWE developmental talent will begin their training once again.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE’s developmental talent will be training in a warehouse rather than the Performance Center. He also detailed the measures being taken in the ring. Here is the quote:

“The WWE developmental talent, which hasn’t been training at the gym since the pandemic started and it became the television location, are expected to start back with regular classes on 8/10. They will not be training at the Performance Center but at a warehouse right near the Performance Center which will be set up with a few rings. What we were told is that everyone will get tested on Sunday so they’ll have the results back every Monday. Only two people will be allowed in the ring together at any time. Everyone not in the ring must have masks on.”

Typically if you are not on the main roster, you have to participate in these classes. Regardless of if you are an established NXT star or just a trainee. It will be interesting to see how WWE handles this situation going forward.

Would you go back to training if you were in this position? Let us know on Twitter!
