Vince McMahon made an appearance on last night’s (June 17) episode of SmackDown to kick off the show, despite his current ongoing allegations.
The segment was met with a lot of criticism both online and within the company, and it seems at least WWE’s social media team know it was a bad idea.
The video of the segment was uploaded to WWE’s YouTube channel, however, the company made sure to disable the ability to comment on the video, for obvious reasons.
A top WWE talent reacted to the segment as soon as it was over, calling it ‘tone deaf’ and ’embarrassing’.
