A clarification on an upcoming WWE match with major consequences for a whole faction has officially been confirmed.
On this week’s WWE NXT (November 12), there was an in-ring war of words between Chase U leader Andre Chase and former member, Ridge Holland.
After the duo seemingly buried their issues at NXT Halloween Havoc in an ambulance match that was won by Holland, the pair found themselves again at odds involving the NXT Championship.
Holland recently pinned Williams in a tag team match, but Chase wanted to step between Holland and a shot at Williams’ title.
When Holland initially refused a rematch against Chase, Chase blurted out that if he was to lose, Ridge Holland could take over Chase U.
Holland said he didn’t care about taking over, but did accept the stipulation that Chase would have to end his relationshinship with Chase U and it’s members – Duke Hudson, Thea Hail and Riley Osborne – if Holland wins.
There has now been an important clarification as the official WWE NXT account on Twitter used specific phrasing regarding the consequences for the match.
The account wrote alongside a match graphic for the upcoming episode:

In a backstage segment later in the show, the members of Chase U (Osborne, Hudson and Hail) were shown being concerned after Chase essentially put their future on the line.
In the past, Andre Chase has previously nearly ‘gambled away’ the university but was able to repay his debts after Jacy Jayne encouraged Chase U to sell a calendar featuring the women of Chase U.
