WWE
WWE has released new merchandise for the upcoming Clash at the Castle event in Glasgow that is sure to divide fans in the city.
The event is set to take place in Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on July 15, and a new official event jersey has been released by WWE, which you can see in the tweet below.
The jersey features the Clash at the Castle logo on a shirt inspired by Glasgow’s Rangers football club, the favoured club of Drew McIntyre, who is set to challenge Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship on the show.
However, the shirt is sure to cause a divide among fans in Glasgow, due to the giant rivalry between Rangers and Celtic, Glasgow’s other football club.
The two sides have a bitter hatred for each other dating back many decades, originating in political and religious disagreements between the two sides.
Suffice to say, if Drew were to wear the jersey to the ring next weekend, half of the Hydro would suddenly be rooting for Priest to keep ahold of his title.
