Popular WWE Star Reflects On NXT Experience & Top Star WWE

A popular WWE star has reflected on their recent experience in NXT and working with a top star whilst there.

Dolph Ziggler made a trip to NXT 2.0 in 2022 appearing on the February 8 episode before going on to become the NXT Champion at NXT Roadblock in March 2022.

Speaking of his time in the brand on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Ziggler revealed:

“That was really cool… because I thought I was going there to do what I do, help a young guy out. But they also go, ‘Hey, you get a little more creative to do what you want talking-wise.’ And I go, ‘That’s been a problem for me for 15 years.”

Ziggler would explain that, on the main roster, he’s followed what WWE wanted him to say and that this was the first time in his career that he was able to be himself.

Addressing his program with Bron Breakker between early February and early April, Ziggler said:

“It was so fun because a lot of people didn’t know I was doing it. I thought it was for like four weeks, work with [Breakker], help him out and see if he’s ready for the main roster

“He’s such a good kid that if I hated him, I would’ve done the exact same work. But I’m happy for him because I like him, and I don’t like a lot of people.”

Ziggler would defeat Tomasso Ciampa at NXT Roadblock on March 8 2022 to become the NXT Champion in a triple-threat match that would feature Breakker.

At Stand & Deliver in April 2022, he would successfully defend the championship against Breakker but would drop it on the April 4 2022 episode of WWE Raw.
