The use of ‘piped in’ crowd reactions has drawn criticism among fans and a clip from WWE Raw of Dominik Mysterio shows the ‘live’ reaction.

It had previously been reported that LA Knight had been the subject of a production choice to pipe in boos as a way of keeping him heel, despite the live reaction showing otherwise.

Hall of Famer Booker T has also discussed the use of artificial audio that became more apparent in WWE over the ThunderDome period.

It’s also a technique that AEW have reportedly previously used for episodes of Rampage.

With the overwhelmingly loud reaction to Dominik Mysterio’s presence and anything that the Judgment Day member says, it’s natural to think that some of that sound would be artificially enhanced.

On the June 19, 2023 episode of WWE Raw, Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn faced Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio.
