WWE Star Opens Up About Transition From ThunderDome To Live Crowds WWE

A WWE star has opened up about the transition from the ThunderDome era to being in front of live wrestling crowds.

WWE’s ThunderDome era began in August 2020 as a reaction to the COVID 19 pandemic that had all but eliminated the chance for wrestling fans to attend wrestling shows.

While a number of companies navigated the “no fans” policy in their own ways, WWE employed videoconferencing technology to allow fans to virtually attend WWE shows.

During this time, Dominik Mysterio would make his in-ring WWE debut before continuing to work in front of live crowds, a subject he discussed on the G-Moniy podcast.

Being fortunate enough to work with Rey Mysterio, among others, as part of his in-ring debut, Dominik revealed:

“Just the way that they were explaining things to me. I started in the ThunderDome, and as soon as we went back to live crowds I was tagging with my dad and John Cena against Roman Reigns and The Usos. I had about five of the greatest wrestlers to do it in one ring, and then you have me.

“That transition, to be able to just pick things up, was very eye-opening for me, and the way that they guided me through was very eye-opening for me.”

Dominik Mysterio has continued to work with some of the WWE’s finest being currently allied with Judgment Day and frequently close to Rhea Ripley.

During his run in WWE, he has been a one-time WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion with Rey Mysterio.

His relationship with his father on WWE television hasn’t been the same since he was arrested and thrown into jail.

In a recent interview, Ex Con Dom opened up about his time in big house and who was there for him.

Rhea Ripley is the current WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion and is scheduled to face Natalya at WWE Night of Champions.

The card for WWE Night of Champions 2023 on Saturday, May 27 is as follows:

World Heavyweight Championship – Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins vs. AJ Styles

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship – Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn (c) vs. Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa

Raw Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka

SmackDown Women’s Championship – Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Natalya

Intercontinental Championship – Gunther (c) vs. Mustafa Ali
