Current plans regarding a 2025 edition of the WWE Draft have been revealed with WrestleMania 41 season approaching.
Traditionally, the WWE Draft takes place each year in early May, not long after WrestleMania takes place in April.
However, there have been some question marks over its status for this year considering the WWE transfer window took place throughout January.
The likes of Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest, Bayley, the Wyatt Sicks and more all switched brands during the transfer window heading into WrestleMania season, with SmackDown in particular gaining some big names to expand its roster following its change from two hours to three hours at the start of the year.
In an update, PWInsider reports that the WWE Draft is still planned to take place during WrestleMania season this year.
The WWE Draft usually includes NXT in addition to Raw and SmackDown, so we’re likely to see some main roster call-ups at that point.
WWE did say the transfer window this past January included all three brands, but there weren’t actually any permanent brand switches to or from NXT.
