‘Free Agent’ WWE Star Teases NXT Run Post-WWE Draft WWE

A handful of stars are “free agents” in the recent WWE Draft and one is already teasing the potential of the opportunity.

Among the WWE stars who are free agents and able to appear on any show is Cedric Alexander who joined Baron Corbin, Shelton Benjamin, Elias and Xyon Quinn as announced on Raw Talk.

Shortly after the announcement was made, Alexander set his sights on a championship, targeting current NXT North American Champion Wes Lee.

Taking to Twitter, Alexander said:

“So free agency huh?

“So I can get that @WesLee_WWE #NATitle match?”

Wes Lee has been the NXT North American Champion since October 22 2022’s NXT Halloween Havoc.

He won the then-vacated title in a five-man ladder match that also featured Carmelo Hayes, Von Wagner, Oro Mensah and Nathan Frazer.

Since first appearing in WWE in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic of 2016, Cedric Alexander has gone on to become a WWE Cruiserweight Champion, held the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship with Shelton Benjamin and was a former three-time WWE 24/7 Champion.
