WWE legend Matt Hardy of The Hardys has teased a dream match with current WWE Tag Team Champions The Motor City Machine Guns.
On the October 25 edition of SmackDown, The Motor City Machine Guns defeated The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to win the WWE Tag Team Championships.
This marked the Guns winning tag team gold in only their third match in WWE.
On November 10, TNA Wrestling star Matt Hardy congratulated Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin for becoming the titles.
Chris Sabin took to social media to reply to Matt Hardy’s congratulations post. He wrote:
Thank you for the kind words, Matt! Coming from one half of unquestionably one of the greatest tag teams of all time this means a lot. MCMG vs the Hardy Boyz one day?
Matt Hardy quote tweeted her reply to tease a potential dream match between The Hardys and The Motor City Machine Guns. He wrote:
Your incredible accomplishments merit those kind words, so you’re very welcome. I’m betting MCMG’s best is yet to come.
We’re here for it – It’s one of the few, actual tag team dream matches that’s never happened.
The Motor City Machine Guns will defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against The Street Profits on the November 15 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
