WWE Hall Of Famer Reveals Dream Opponent He Never Faced WWE

WWE Hall of Famer and current NXT commentator Booker T achieved pretty much everything possible during his active in-ring career.

Alongside achievements such as being a six-time world champion, Booker also competed with a who’s who of the wrestling business including, The Rock, Steve Austin, Sting and Ric Flair to name a few.

However, there was one major WWE name that elusively slipped through Booker’s grasp during his time in the company during the 2000s.

That being the ‘Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels.

While Booker and HBK would compete in multi-man matches together such as the Elimination Chamber match at Survivor Series 2002, the legendary names would never meet one-on-one.

Speaking to the Under The Ring Podcast, Booker would comment on the dream match that got away.

“There’s only one person I didn’t work and that was Shawn Michaels. I always thought Shawn Michaels was the best.

They don’t call him Mr. WrestleMania for nothing. He was really that good. I always thought he was phenomenal, and to not have gotten the chance to mix it up with Shawn Michaels one on one in that square circle, man I missed out. I missed out, but that’s the only guy.”

While Booker may have missed out on facing HBK, both men have ironically ended up in the same place, on Tuesday night’s for NXT.

Booker would recently reveal who in NXT he’s most high on, which you can read about here.
