
The new ring name for former WWE star Duke Hudson has now been revealed ahead of an upcoming independent wrestling show.
Hudson was released back in January 2025, although news would only emerge in February of that year.
With it recently being reported that Hudson has been announced for an independent show on April 17, 2025, his new ring name has also been revealed.
Duke Hudson will now be going by the name “Duke” when he hits the independent wrestling scene.
The announcement was made by Pandemonium Pro Wrestling ahead of their April 17 show, The House Always Wins.
As was mentioned in the linked announcement video, the appearance marks the former WWE star’s return to the independent wrestling scene.
Prior to signing with WWE in February 2019, the real-life Brendan Vink was a fixture on the Australian wrestling scene performing as PNB and Elliot Sexton.
His pre-WWE run also saw him compete in NJPW during their Fallout Down Under Tour in February 2018.
During his WWE run, Hudson would hold the NXT Championship with Andre Chase as part of Chase U.
