The upcoming debut of WWE Raw on Netflix is set to be a major affair according to a new report about the January 2025 transition.
Despite there not being a planned premium live event in December or January, it doesn’t mean that there won’t be a big show in store.
From a new report from Fightful Select, a “longtime employee of WWE” has shared that the debut of Raw on Netflix in January is set to get a lot of “buzz”.
According to sources, the debut has been discussed early on as “being of the quality of a PLE”. Also that the company sees the move to Netflix as “their next leap in popularity”.
While there haven’t been any specific plans shared, fans can still expect to see WWE SmackDown stars on the special debut episode as well as John Cena.
WWE has an exciting event month in the lead-up with Saturday Night’s Main Event in December on NBC, so even in the absence of actual PLEs, there are major shows lined up.
The report also confirmed a previous report from WrestleVotes noting that the likely location for the show was the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
