We now have the first explicit reaction from a WWE star to rumors of the company being sold to the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund.
If you’re familiar with him and his social media game, you probably would have guessed that NXT’s Edris Enofe would have something to say about the whole situation.
Well, he didn’t necessarily have anything to say, but, erm, he did change his Twitter profile picture to this:
Yes, it’s supposed to be upside down, but here’s a not upside down version:
Never change, Edris.
As I said, it’s not exactly surprising that he’s done this, as his recent antics have included naming his running knee the E-Trigger (a pro-WWE dig at Kenny Omega’s V-Trigger). Oh and he also got a MASSIVE WWE LOGO TATTOO ON HIS CHEST a couple of weeks ago.
Since he got the tattoo, he’s been wrestling in a shirt. It’s unclear whether that’s because he’s been told off for getting it, or because it’s being saved for a big reveal.
I’m not sure which of those two things would be more hilarious.
