A WWE star will be going ‘mano a mano’ in another company as they make a return to Mexico later next month.
With El Grande American’s last AAA appearance taking place in September, he will return to the Mexico-based promotion in November.
Ahead of the AAA Alianzas Lucha Libre Tour, it was revealed that El Grande Americano will be in action on November 28.
The match announcement was confirmed on the AAA Twitter account, with El Grande Americano set to face Hijo Del Vikingo.
The match between the pair is described as a “Mano A Mano Internacional” with no indication as to whether Bravo & Rayo Americano will be joining him.
The September 27 Allianzas saw El Grande Americano and Vikingo lose to Dragon Leee in a AAA Mega Championship Number 1 Contenders match.
Unfortunately for Lee, he was unable to unseat the AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio at Heroes Immortales in their recent match.
Mysterio has recently seemingly formed an alliance with Los Americanos, hinting at further issues with Judgment Day.
A popular star in Mexico, it has previously been reported that El Grande Americano is seen as a “major player” in AAA.
AAA was acquired by WWE over WrestleMania 41 weekend back in April of this year.
