Former WWE Star To Challenge For TNA World Championship

A former WWE star is challenging for the TNA World Championship, with the holder of that title to be decided on the June 3 NXT.

With WWE’s Trick Williams having defeated Joe Hendry for the TNA World Championship, the new champion faces Mike Santana on next week’s episode of NXT.

The winner of that match will go on to defend the title at TNA Against All Odds on June 6.

Regardless of the outcome of the NXT match, the champion will be facing Elijah (known to many WWE fans as Elias).

Elijah made his debut on the February 20 episode of iMPACT! with his official signing later confirmed by TNA Wrestling.

A potential Williams appearance on Against All Odds isn’t the only member of the NXT roster fans can expect to see.

Robert Stone will face off against Santino Marella, with the winner being the official TNA Director of Authority.

The day after TNA Against All Odds, WWE and AAA crossover for Worlds Collide, with the same evening also playing host to Money in the Bank.
