Sami Zayn went to war with Roman Reigns in Montreal during their Elimination Chamber main event and now has the scars to prove it.

With WWE’s social media account posting some grisly photos of Sami Zayn after the Elimination Chamber main event, fans can see the physical damage on Zayn’s body to match the emotional heartbreak of the moment.

While many fans were hopeful that Zayn would pull off a victory, as Michael Cole on commentary put it at the beginning of the match, it wasn’t probable but it was possible.

In the end, the Bloodline storyline continues as it remains unclear where Jey Uso’s allegiances lie and even how Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens will interact moving forward after their angle ended in essentially a non-emotive stare down.

Sami Zayn put in a valiant effort in front of a passionate hometown crowd in Montreal that were squarely behind him to capture gold.

However with multiple downed referees and interferences, Zayn’s championship dreams were crushed as Roman Reigns remains WWE’s Undisputed Universal Champion.
