Backstage Heat On Big Name After WWE Elimination Chamber 2025

Details have emerged on WWE backstage heat surrounding rapper Travis Scott following Elimination Chamber 2025.

Scott was involved in what many are calling one of the biggest moments in wrestling history, with John Cena turning heel and attacking Cody Rhodes, aligning himself with The Rock.

Cena, The Rock and Travis Scott attacked Cody Rhodes in the closing moments of the March 1 PLE, leaving him a bloody mess in the ring.

Following the event, Dave Meltzer reported that Cody Rhodes suffered a busted eardrum and black eye in the segment, with Travis Scott believed to have caused these injuries.

Meltzer now reports that this moment got ‘all kinds of heat’ backstage, with some in WWE believing the rapper shouldn’t have been in this position to start with.

Dave Meltzer wrote the following in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter:

“As you can imagine, that got all kinds of heat backstage, with people noting that Scott shouldn’t have been out there nor put in that position in the first place.

“The one story is that Scott was told to make it look good but it was too good.”
