WWE Star Issues Emotional Statement After Raw

A WWE star has taken to social media to issue an emotional statement after picking up a big win on tonight’s episode of Raw.

Raw tonight played host to a four-way World Tag Team Championship #1 contenders match featuring Los Americanos, Alpha Academy, the Creed Brothers and New Day.

It was the Alpha Academy duo of Otis and Akira Tozawa that scored the win with Tozawa pinning Julius Creed.

After the show, Tozawa shared the following comments on social media:

It’s been about 10 years since I came to WWE.

To be honest, I haven’t left the results people expected, and sometimes I get laughed at like, “You’re still in WWE?”

But I love professional wrestling.

I love WWE.

That’s why no matter what people said, I kept going.

And now… it’s time.

It’s time to finally make it happen.

Otis, thank you for being my partner.

Maxxine, thank you for always supporting us.

We will become champions. I promise you that.

I love you all.

Outside of being a 16-time 24/7 Champion, the only title Tozawa has won in WWE was the Cruiserweight Championship back in 2017 with a reign of only five days.

After their win tonight, he and Otis will soon challenge current champions The Usos for the World Tag Team Title.
