With Florida introducing a new gun law, the WWE’s stance for anyone attending live events in the state has been revealed.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has reacted to a new law that went into effect in Florida on July 1.

The law allows citizens to carry concealed firearms without a permit in the state.

Meltzer reports that “WWE has enacted a written rule for all events in the state including at the Performance Center that all firearms and concealed weapons are not permitted.”

According to Meltzer, anyone bringing a firearm or gun to the Performance Center or to an arena where WWE is running “will be instructed to take their weapon back to their car.”

Further to this, Meltzer states that they won’t be able to “check-in and leave a weapon” to be picked up after a WWE event.

The Pensacola News Journal recently ran an article about the new law and provided a list of the associated rules.

According to the report, the “training course and subsequent permit will no longer be required to concealed carry a firearm” in Florida.
