WrestleVotes is reporting that the plans for Eva Marie on Monday Night Raw involve her having some form of “muscle”, with names from both NXT and NXT UK being discussed for the role.
The reliable Twitter source is reporting that WWE has discussed either pairing Eva Marie with Mercedes Martinez or even NXT UK star Piper Niven, noting:
Hearing the plans for Eva Marie’s return include her having a “muscle” of some sorts by her side. The two names I’ve heard most discussed to pair w/ her are Mercedes Martinez -OR- NXT UK star Piper Niven.
It had previously been reported that WWE is planning on having Eva Marie elevate another female star and not wrestle following her return, but the Total Divas star has suggested that she will be stepping back into the ring.
Sean Ross Sapp took to Twitter to corroborate the news, noting that Piper Niven was the plan as of a few weeks ago. However, he did express that “plans do change”:
