Former WWE Star Reveals What They Weren’t Supposed To Do In Last Run

A former WWE star has revealed what they weren’t meant to be doing during their last run with the company.

Eva Marie had her last run to date in WWE from October 2020 until November 2021, aligning herself with Doudrop (Piper Niven) and going on to face Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam in August of 2021.

She recently watched that match back on her YouTube channel and revealed what she wasn’t meant be doing during the run, saying:

“So basically what it really was, what it was supposed to be — giving you a little insight — is I really wasn’t supposed to wrestle as much as I wrestled.

“Obviously, performing at SummerSlam, it’s a live pay-per-view, but you’re in front of like 100,000 people. It doesn’t get much better than that.

“I’m not gonna lie, I was shocked that I had a SummerSlam match because I had just come back and wasn’t supposed to wrestle. So that was definitely kind of crazy.”

Previously, Eva Marie has revealed that she maintains an “ongoing relationship” with WWE.

Eva Marie’s return to WWE came to an end in November 2021 as part of the numerous layoffs that included on-screen talent and back office administrative personnel.
