WWE Evolution 2025 Championship Match Update

There has been an update on the participants in an announced championship match set to take place at WWE Evolution 2025.

The first match for the second WWE Evolution premium live event was announced on last week’s episode of NXT, when NXT General Manager Ava announced an NXT Women’s Championship Eliminator.

Four matches would take place on the following week’s NXT show, with the winners going on to a four-way the following week, which would crown the number one contender for Jacy Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship at Evolution.

Tonight saw the four singles matches take place, which began with Jaida Parker defeating Thea Hail in the opening match.

The rest of the matches saw Lash Legend defeat Kelani Jordan, Izzi Dame defeat Zaria and Jordynne Grace defeat Lola Vice, setting up the four-way for next week’s episode of NXT.

The winner of Legend vs Dame vs Zaria vs Grace will challenge for the NXT Women’s Title at Evolution on July 13.

NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne made an appearance to close out tonight’s show, where she and Fatal Influence interrupted Blake Monroe’s contract signing before putting her through a table.
