The second WWE Evolution is now in the history books, and future plans for the all-women’s Premium Live Event have been revealed.
July 13 saw the second WWE Evolution, with the show ending with Naomi cashing in her Money in the Bank opportunity.
Marking the second all-women’s event since 2018, Triple H discussed its potential future during the post-show press conference, saying:
“I don’t want to say it’s yearly, it’s not yearly. I think we see what the demand is for it.
“Because as the demand for the women grows across the board every day, it becomes less about having their own show and more about…the equality, it’s all there.
“They don’t have to have their show to be in the spotlight. But if it works, we’ll definitely go down that road again. It’s a we shall see.'”
Triple H would go on to challenge the notion of a single night being seen as a source of inspiration, discussing how he envisions it wihin WWE, stating:
“I don’t know if it has to be a particular night for them to be inspired by the women, because I think the women do that every single Monday, Tuesday, Friday, whenever we have a PLE, wherever we’re having a Saturday Night’s Main Event.
“They’re role models, they’re inspiring people, they’re changing lives. That sounds dramatic to some degree, but that is the kind of thing they do.”
Ahead of WWE Evolution, Barbie Blank, known to fans as Kelly Kelly, revealed she turned down an invitation to appear in the crowd at the event.
