It has been announced that WWE and The Foxtel Group have extended their TV partnership with a new multi-year agreement.
As per the agreement, Raw, SmackDown and NXT will be broadcast live each week on FOX8 and FOX Sport. One hour versions of the show will air the next day as well as on-demand.
Kayo Sports and Foxtel Now, Foxtel’s subscription video-on-demand services will continue to feature WWE content. The weekly highlight shows, WWE Afterburn and WWE Bottom Line, will stream on these services.
In May, WWE postponed a live tour in Australia, which was set to begin in July, to summer 2022. The company are planning to resume international tours later this year, with UK and Puerto Rican shows announced in the past few months.
During a recent conference call, it was revealed that WWE plans to resume “large scale” international live events before the end of the year. It was previously reported that the company also plans to host a Saudi Arabia show before we reach 2022.
