WWE Extreme Rules was an eventful show. Here is the news in brief…
Before the opening match, Ronda Rousey was shown with her husband in the front row, waving her ringside ticket.
Opening match was The Deleters of Worlds vs The B Team for the Raw Tag Team Championships. The B Team won the titles after Matt Hardy accidentally collided with Bray Wyatt and then Bo Dallas pinned Matt after his top rope spinning neckbreaker. Decent opener.
Kurt Angle then told Renee Young that unless Brock Lesnar shows up on Raw or comes to terms on an agreement for his next title defence, he will be stripped of the Universal Championship. About pigging time!
Finn Balor pinned Constable Corbin clean in a nothing bout after he countered the End of Days into a small package. Judging by the expression on Corbin’s face afterwards, this feud must continue.
Backstage, The Bludgeon Brothers attacked Team Hell No and then Harper whacked Kane’s knee with his mallet. Oh no! Will The Big Red Machine and Daniel Bryan be fit to compete for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles later tonight?
