WWE Star Addresses Potential Face Turn Amid Tag-Team Split Rumors

WWE star Grayson Waller has addressed the possibility of him turning babyface, amid rumors about his tag-team splitting up.

While Waller has wrestled as a heel alongside Austin Theory for most of his time on the WWE main roster, there have been numerous teases that A-Town Down Under could be going their separate ways soon.

Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Waller noted that while he believes it’s possible for him to work as a babyface, he prefers to wrestle as a heel.

Waller explained:

“I just don’t think being a babyface is me. Maybe there’s a scenario like in Australia, it kind of naturally happened when people started cheering me, but I didn’t change who I was.

“That’s not what I do this for, I do this for the seven year old kid who it’s his first time experiencing wrestling, and I get to hit that sign as hard as I can and he starts crying.

“I’m here to have grandma yelling at me as loud as she can because she hates what I’m doing.

“That’s what I get glee from and I think that sets me apart from a lot of people.”
