A WWE faction may be set to break up soon after tension was teased during a backstage segment on tonight’s NXT show.

Tonight’s WWE NXT show kicked off with North American Champion Tony D’Angelo defending his championship against Ridge Holland.

Tony was able to retain the title, but not after interference from Izzi Dame, who attacked Ridge Holland was the D’Angelo Family brawled with Shawn Spears, Niko Vance and Brooks Jensen, with Izzi telling Tony that she ‘owed him one’.

Later in the night, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino faced off against Vance and Jensen, with Vance and Jensen scoring the victory, though D’Angelo was nowhere to be seen at ringside for the match.

Backstage, Tony was speaking to Izzi Dame after she helped him keep the North American Championship earlier in the night, when the Family approached him, asking about his whereabouts for their match.

Tony said that he was busy talking to Izzi, but told Stacks that he has been the underboss for two years, and that he can ‘figure things out’ himself when Tony is not around.
