A WWE faction is seemingly looking to grow as its leader looks to be recruiting a recently returned star to his new group.

In a backstage segment on tonight’s WWE NXT, Shawn Spears was with his proteges Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance, praising them for their recent efforts at attacking Tony D’Angelo.

Reminding them to be patient, Spears would go on to tell the duo that they were still building their group as he saw Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley walking by.

Spears told Dolin that he was looking forward to seeing her return match and he would be watching.

Gigi Dolin for her part didn’t really seem enthusiastic about the thought as she just said “gee, thanks” and she and Tatum Paxley walked away.

The pair would go on to agree that Spears was creepy which Paxley acknowledged was saying something coming from her.

After the commercial break Dolin had a match against Izzi Dame with Paxley at ringside before Spears came out to watch as well.

In the end, Dolin would pick up the win and celebrated with Paxley outside of the ring while Spears looked on and slow clapped.
