WWE Faction Splitting Update

An update has emerged on a WWE faction splitting, following a betrayal at NXT Stand & Deliver.

Things imploded within the D’Angelo Family at the April 19 NXT Premium Live Event, with Tony D’Angelo, Luca Cruisifino and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo facing off against the new DarkState faction in six-man tag-team action.

Darkstate were ultimately victorious, following Stacks’ betrayal of Tony D’Angelo.

Following some miscommunication, D’Angelo and Stacks hugged it out, but then kicked D’Angelo in the groin while his back was turned.

WWE has shared a new video from after the match showing D’Angelo chasing down Stacks, who was getting into his car, preparing to leave the arena.

In the video – which you can watch below – D’Angelo asked Stacks about his betrayal, to which Stacks noted that he’ll explain everything later.

Telling D’Angelo to keep his phone close, Stacks noted that he will see him on Tuesday’s NXT episode.

D’Angelo has now taken to Twitter to react to Stacks’ actions, sharing a shot from The Godfather Part II where Michael Corleone confronts his brother Fredo following his brother’s betrayal. During this scene, Michael tells Fredo that he broke his heart.
