WWE Fallout: Pat McAfee Responds To ‘Pat MAGAfee’ & Ticket Prices Shots From CM Punk WWE

Pat McAfee has issued a response to CM Punk after Punk referred to him as “Pat MAGAfee” and fired more shots on WWE Raw last night.

On Raw, Punk called out McAfee’s involvement in the Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton WWE Championship match at WrestleMania.

Included in Punk’s comments were him referring to McAfee as Pat MAGAfee – which ended up trending on social media – as well as calling out McAfee’s agent and TKO CEO Ari Emanuel to lower the ticket prices for WWE shows.

Today on the Pat McAfee Show, McAfee issued a response to Punk, saying:

“CM Punk last night called me Pat MAGAfee and attacked a lot of things.

“Then, he would lay out why he is not worth the price of admission to WrestleMania. ‘Lower the prices now! I’m not worth that much!’

“No worries, Mr Punk. Randy Orton is here to save everything.”

Are WWE Ticket Prices Too High?

From the perspective of an average person hoping to attend WWE shows, the ticket prices do seem to be too high right now.

However, from the WWE and TKO business side of things, as long as records keep being broken and tickets do keep selling at a high enough rate, they won’t be considered “too high.”

While there is a risk WWE alienates some fans, it’s quite clear that the TKO way of doing things is to prioritise making money over just about anything else – which is the whole reason Pat McAfee is involved in Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton to begin with.

However, as noted, there may come a time where this approach truly catches up to them, and they need to make sure to get ahead of that before it happens, especially now it’s being discussed right in front of fans’ faces during the shows.
