A WWE signing’s farewell match has now been revealed, with the popular star set to face off against “everyone” before officially joining WWE.
With it reported in April that Giulia will report to the WWE Performance Center after helping to establish Rossy Ogawa’s new Marigold promotion, there has been a lot of speculation about Giulia’s farewell appearance in Japan.
With Giulia previously announcing her final Marigold appearance for August 19, one more match has been announced for the former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion in Japan, ahead of her US move.
Following Saturday’s (August 17) Marigold press conference, the promotion has confirmed that Giulia will be in action at next Sunday’s (August 25) Shinkiba show, against “everyone”.
Giulia will face off against a number of stars from various promotions for 1 minute each, in her farewell appearance.
Marigold has now shared the following match preview:
At today’s press conference, Misa Matsui, Natsumi Showzuki, Utami, Komomo Minami all said they wanted to fight Giulia.
In what is a send off tradition, Rossy Ogawa suggested that Giulia fight everyone, for 1 minute each, on Aug 25 at Shinkiba 1st RING. This is open to anyone.
Giulia made her first WWE appearance at the NXT Stand & Deliver premium live event in April, being shown in the crowd during the show.
Giulia has now made admitted something hilarious about this appearance, which you can read more about right here.
