WWE Files For Drew McIntyre-Related Trademark

WWE Files For Drew McIntyre-Related Trademark

World Wrestling Entertainment have recently filed for a new trademark relating to the former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.

On February 24, WWE applied for the trademark “SCOTTISH WARRIOR”. As per the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the trademark will allow WWE to use this phrase for “Entertainment Services”, including across all WWE’s media channels.

Here is the full description:

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment”

With McIntyre already embracing his warrior character, it makes sense that WWE would want to trademark the phrase. Get ready to hear this phrase a lot more on WWE branding once WWE own the “Scottish Warrior” trademark.

McIntyre returns to Raw tomorrow night. This will be his first live WWE appearance since losing his WWE Championship to The Miz at Elimination Chamber 2021.
