WWE Files For More NXT Related Trademarks

WWE have recently filed for numerous new trademarks, confirming the status of some talent signed to the NXT brand.

On the latest episode of NXT, a video package confirmed that Sarray (FKA Sareee) is soon to make her on-screen Gold Brand debut.

It was announced that the former STARDOM competitor had signed with NXT in February 2020, but was unable to officially join the brand due to pandemic travel restrictions.

WWE have filed for trademarks relating to the soon-to-debut star. According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, WWE have filed for the trademark of the name “SARRAY” for use in “Entertainment Services”, including across all WWE’s media channels.

Here is the full description:

“SARRAY™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports”

A similar trademark was filed for “WARRIOR OF THE SUN“, a moniker that WWE is using for Sarray. This is also intended for use with “Entertainment Services”.

WWE also filed for a trademark for “JESSI KAMEA“. The USPTO shows that this filing was similar to the others, with WWE intending the trademark for pro-wrestling use.
