WWE Files Interesting NXT Related Trademark

As per the United States Patent and Trademark office (USPTO), WWE has filed for a new trademark that seems to be for a current NXT story.

On April 21, WWE filed for two trademarks relating to the phrase “IN-DEX”. According to USPTO, this trademark will allow WWE to use this phrase for “Entertainment Services”, as well as merchandise.

The following descriptions accompanied the filings:

Type code: GS0411

Type: Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment

Type code: GS0251

Type: Clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands as clothing; bandanas

It is likely that this trademark relates to NXT talents Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis, who are currently involved in a romantic storyline. This week, The Way dragged Hartwell away from the ring after she attempted to kiss Lumis after his match.

It seems that it is only a matter of time before Hartwell and Lumis are packaged together with this new unique couples name.

WWE recently unveiled their latest class of international Performance Center recruits. Top of the class was Sarray, who made her in-ring debut for NXT on Tuesday.

Sadly, it looks like we wont see a reunion of former NXT team The Hype Bros. Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder) recently shot down the idea of working with Mojo Rawley on social media.
