It has come to light that World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has filed a lawsuit against the US Citizenship & Immigration Services.
As per PWInsider, the lawsuit was filed on January 26 in the United States District Court of Connecticut.
The nature of the lawsuit is currently sealed to the public, but PWInsider speculated it could be because WWE wasn’t able to bring a talent or employee into the country.
Martine G. Cuomo, who is an immigration attorney, filed documents on behalf of WWE as part of the lawsuit.
US Citizenship & Immigration Services have not yet been served with the lawsuit as per court records, and have 60 days to respond.
Another thing the court records indicate is that amended pleadings need to be filed by March 27 with discovery completed by July 8.
