WWE Files Roman Reigns Related Trademark

WWE Files Roman Reigns Related Trademark

As per the United States Patent and Trademark office (USPTO), WWE has filed to trademark a notable Roman Reigns related phrase.

WWE has filed to trademark “HEAD OF THE TABLE”. According to the USPTO, the trademark would allow WWE to use the phrase for select items of merchandise, including shirts, jackets and footwear.

The following description accompanied the filing:

HEAD OF THE TABLE™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands as clothing; bandanas.

The “Head of the Table” phrase has been used regularly since Roman Reigns introduced the Tribal Chief character last year. It seems as if WWE is planning to release new merchandise for the Universal Champion.

On this week’s episode of SmackDown, Reigns defeated Rey Mysterio inside Hell in a Cell. It has been revealed that Friday’s episode saw an increase in viewership.

Numerous reports have stated that Reigns will defend his gold against John Cena at SummerSlam. Reigns has recently issued a warning to Cena, telling him to stay away from WWE.
