WWE Files For Several More Intriguing Trademarks

It has emerged via the United States Patent & Trademark Office database that WWE has filed for several more intriguing trademarks.

In addition to the five that we previously reported on (which you can find at this link), a further 17 trademarks were filed on December 30, 2020.

The new trademarks that weren’t in the database previously are as follows:

  • THE COVANANTER
  • QIAO LIANG
  • THE WITCH
  • QUAN TOU
  • THE BRIDGE
  • QI YUE
  • DIAMOND MINE
  • JI LU
  • NU WU

And these symbols:

It has been speculated and would seem likely that at least the majority of these recent trademarks are related to the ongoing angle with Boa and Xia li in NXT.

All the above filings were made with the following description:

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.
