WWE Files To Trademark Another Ring Name

United States Patent and Trademark Office records show that WWE filed for some more trademarks on January 6, making it eight already this year.

WWE filed for ‘Katrina Cortez’ and ‘Left Right Left Right’ with the USPTO earlier this week.

Katrina Cortez is the new name for Catalina Garcia which she used this past week on NXT when she lost to Xia Li.

Left Right Left Right relates to WWE’s video gaming endeavours (a play on Xavier Woods’ Up Up Down Down). WWE had filed for it last year but it had been denied due to confusion with a DJ in Dallas who’s moniker is ‘Left/Right’.

The Left Right Left Right trademark was filed with the following description:

Entertainment services, namely, a continuing program about sports and entertainment accessible rendered live and through broadcast media including television and via the internet or commercial online service; entertainment services, namely, television shows about sports, entertainment and general interest rendered live and through broadcast media including television and via the internet or commercial online service; entertainment services, namely, a continuing program about video games, strategy games; entertainment services, namely, providing news, analysis, and information regarding video games.

Katrina Cortez was filed with the following description:
