WWE Files To Trademark Former Star’s Name

WWE has filed two trademarks on the name of a character that was used in the company until the wrestler who performed under it was released last year.

As per Wrestling Inc, WWE filed two merchandise-based trademarks for “Sin Cara” on October 21. Two wrestlers used the Sin Cara character in WWE until the most recent, who was previously Hunico, was released in December 2019.

The trademarks were filed with the following descriptions:
