WWE Files Trademark For ‘Madcap Moss’

According to the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), WWE has filed a trademark for a performer’s new ring name.

WWE has filed to trademark ‘MADCAP MOSS’. As per the USPTO, the trademark would allow WWE to use the phrase for ‘Entertainment services’, namely wrestling exhibitions.

The following description accompanied the filing:

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment

‘Madcap Moss’ is the new ring name for Riddick Moss, who returned to TV on the September 24 edition of SmackDown, aligning himself with Happy Corbin.

Corbin and Moss were drafted to SmackDown on Friday’s (October 1) episode. A recent report revealed that the duo were put together ahead of the WWE Draft to get the ball rolling on their partnership.
