WWE Files Trademark For New Becky Lynch Nickname

According to the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), WWE filed to trademark a nickname associated with Becky Lynch.

On September 13, WWE filed to trademark “BIG TIME BECKS”. As per the USPTO, the trademark would allow WWE to use the phrase for “entertainment services”, namely wrestling exhibitions.

The following description accompanied the filing:

Mark For: BIG TIME BECKS™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.

Becky Lynch has recently been using the “Big Time Becks” nickname ahead of her SmackDown Women’s Title defence at Extreme Rules against Bianca Belair. At SummerSlam, Lynch pinned Belair in under a minute to win the gold.

It was recently announced that The Usos will defend their SmackDown Tag Team Championship on the pay-per-view against The Street Profits. ‘Demon’ Finn Balor is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Title on the September 26 show.
