WWE has filed to trademark the name of an iconic term associated with one of it’s top stars with the USPTO.
Randy Orton has been one of the top WWE stars of the past 20 years since his debut in 2002, with his iconic RKO finishing move matching him in popularity.
With Orton still a key part of WWE television today, WWE has filed the trademark for his iconic RKO finishing move, per the USPTO.
The following description accompanied the filing:

Orton is in the middle of an ongoing storyline with Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens on SmackDown.
He is currently off television after being Piledriven by Owens following Crown Jewel.
