A former WWE star has revealed that a new documentary is being filmed, focusing on a now defunct WWE faction.
The Nexus had a controversial run in WWE between 2010 and 2011. According to Fred Rosser (fka Darren Young), the stable are to receive their own documentary soon.
Rosser took to Twitter with a photo of himself holding a Nexus armband. He confirmed that he was invited to take part in a future episode of WWE Untold… before pledging his allegiance to NJPW.
Also tagging a number of official NJPW Twitter accounts, Rosser tweeted:
Today, I proudly wore my New Japan track jacket during the filming of @WWE’s Network Docs: Untold Nexus because I wanted to represent the best hour of pure professional wrestling on the planet #NJPWStrong @njpwworld 💯 @njpw1972 @njpwglobal @NJPWofAmerica #blockthehate #wwenexus pic.twitter.com/6UGobTD5yd

Rosser was a founding member of the group, involved in the infamous Nexus invasion of Raw in June 2010. He left the faction in August 2010 after being exiled from the group.
Rosser is currently a member of the NJPW Strong roster. On this week’s episode, Jon Moxley will be in tag team action. This match is in the lead-up to Moxley’s IWGP US Championship defence on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
The NJPW president has recently revealed why the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship was introduced, despite the similar IWGP US Championship already existing.
