Top WWE Star Fined After Raw Attack WWE

WWE star CM Punk has been “fined” by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce following his actions on this week’s show.

Punk and Drew McIntyre are set to face off in a Strap Match at this Saturday’s (August 31) Bash In Berlin premium live event.

Fans didn’t have to wait until then to see the duo get physical, with Punk attacking McIntyre with the strap on Monday’s (August 27) Raw episode.

After Punk and McIntyre were separated by security, Punk used the weapon to whip several members of the security team.

Raw GM Adam Pearce has now taken to Twitter to note that Punk has been fined an “undisclosed amount” of money (in storyline) for attacking the security personnel.

Pearce wrote:

CM Punk has been fined an undisclosed amount for assaulting security with the leather strap that will be used in his Strap Match against Drew McIntyre at #WWEBash.

Peace’s message indicates that Punk will not be suspended, as the Punk vs McIntyre match is still set to go ahead.

McIntyre currently has one win over Punk, pinning him at SummerSlam, with guest referee Seth Rollins counting the fall.
