Finn Balor has shared his first comments after Dominik Mysterio lost the Intercontinental Championship on WWE Raw.
The November 10 episode of WWE Raw saw Dominik Mysterio face John Cena for the title, with the soon-to-be-retired star becoming Intercontinental Champion for the first time in his career.
Mysterio’s relationship with the other members of Judgment Day has been a bit tense over the past weeks, with the former champion reaching out to Los Americanos for backup recently.
Seeming to revel in Mysterio’s loss of one of his two championships, Finn Balor has shared a tweet after waking up this morning, posting:
“I woke up and I’m having a wonderful day!”
Mysterio may no longer be the WWE Intercontinental Champion, but continues to be AAA Mega Champion having defeated Vikingo at World Collide in September.
Despite the loss, Big E has shared his belief that stepping into the ring with John Cena will be seen as a great moment in Mysterio’s career.
Mysterio held the WWE Intercontinental Championship for 204 days, having become champion at WrestleMania 41 on April 20 in a Fatal Four-Way match against Bron Breakker, Penta and Finn Balor.
