A former champion in WWE made an appearance at a very unique wrestling event – DDT Pro Toden Train wrestling.
Popping up in a match on a train (yes, literally – you can see the video below) former WWE NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura.
Satomura featured as a passenger getting on the train with other well known names also on board.
Also noted at the event, famed legend Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger, Minoru Suzuki, as well as Funky Kato.
Suzuki is set for an intriguing upcoming match as he was initially offered a spot on Chris Jericho’s team at AEW Forbidden Door on Sunday, although in storyline, Jericho didn’t review his acceptance video ahead of airing it on television.
In that video, Suzuki challenged Jericho to a match for the FTW Championship at Forbidden Door on Sunday, June 30 instead.
Despite being still listed as a member of the WWE NXT roster on WWE’s official website, Meiko Satomura has not wrestled on WWE television since the March 2023 NXT Roadblock show where she was defeated by Roxanne Perez.
