Former Champions Working As Guest Coaches For WWE WWE

There have been some guest coaches at the WWE Performance Center as of late, including some former champions in the company.

As well as the full-time coaches, WWE developmental often brings in guest coaches to help train the talents in NXT.

As reported by PWInsider, the newest name to add to that list is former WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins, who is at the PC as a guest coach this week.

Perkins was signed with WWE from 2016 to 2019 as part of the cruiserweight division, winning the initial Cruiserweight Classic tournament to become Cruiserweight Champion.

He’s recently been wrestling for CMLL and on the indies, in addition to being a multiple-time tag team champion in NJPW.

Also at the WWE Performance Center as a guest coach recently has been former WWF Women’s Champion Jazz, who was there last week, per PWInsider.

It’s not the first time she’s been brought in over the past few months.

Another name said to have been at the Performance Center lately is Ace Steel.

Steel was a coach for WWE from 2019 to 2022, before joining AEW as a coach from 2022 to 2023, making some on-screen appearances alongside CM Punk.

He runs the Harley Race Foundation of Pro Wrestling school, where it isn’t rare to see WWE stars training. Adam Pearce was at that school as a coach recently too.
